Mounting Types: The blinds mounted inside will have a deduction of about 1cm to ensure a good fit inside the window frame. Inside mounted blinds require a minimum frame depth of 5cm for secure installation. If the depth of your window frame is less than 5 cm, please select the external mounting. The blinds mounted on the outside should be ordered with the exact width of the area you want to cover. External brackets are often used when there is not enough frame depth for interior mounting. Our blinds come with all mounting hardware, and mounting hardware is suitable for indoor and outdoor mounting. Inner Bracket Size: Step 1: Measure the inner width of the frame in three places: top, middle and bottom. Note the smallest of the 3 measurements and use this number as the inner width of your order when ordering. Step 2. Measure the height in 3 places: left, middle and right. Note the smallest of the 3 measurements and use the number as the inner width when ordering. External bracket size: Step 1: Measure the width of the outer frame by adding 3-10 inches to be the width of the outer mount. Step 2. Measure the outer length of the frame by adding 5-10 inches to be the length of the outer bracket. Overlapping is recommended to allow proper coverage and avoid any light gap.
